The Glycotechnology Core Resource was established in 1993 to provide access to the specialized technical expertise necessary for glycan analysis to investigators from a wide variety of disciplines.

Two key areas of the Glycotechnology Core Resource's long range plan are:

1. The implementation of the latest techniques in glycan analysis in order to keep pace with investigators' evolving analytical needs and expectations

2. To expand the number and variety of services offered in order to provide analytical support to the greatest number of glycobiologists and therefore have maximum impact on the field.

To advance both of these objectives, the Glycotechnology Core Resource is pleased to announce the introduction of several new services for the analysis of:

• Glycosaminoglycans

• Sialic acids

• N- and O-glycans
